OPPOPP have identified  the 43 year old North Bay man who died in a single vehicle collision Wednesday night  on Highway 17 East of Mattawa as Robert Bailey.   OPP responded to the collision around 9pm in Papineau-Cameron Township.  Police say their investigation revealed a vehicle was westbound on the highway when it collided with a moose.  The lone occupant of the vehicle,  Bailey was pronounced deceased at the scene. 

Meantime, North Bay OPP have charged 3 people, all from Temiskaming Shores with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession following the discovery of Cocaine and Marijuana at a traffic stop on Highway 11 in the city. Police say they seized 30 grams of Cocaine and six Thousand Grams of Marijuana with a street value of 65 Thousand Dollars.  Charged are 29 year old Adam Cooke, 22 year old  Benjamin Foley and 22 year old Tionnie Hosking.
