The chair of Engineering and Works admits construction is annoying and frustrating to go through, but…

Councillor Tanya Vrebosch also says there aren’t any concerns with the various projects that are underway, with a number of them scheduled to be done this year.

That includes the John Street Bridge replacement where the contractor is getting control of the water on the east side of the creek so they can pour the bridge footing onto that side.

Meantime, the project on Ferguson Street (pictured above) involving storm, sanitary and watermain work and the Pinewood Park sanitary sewer installation are progressing well and are also scheduled to wrap up this year.

Vrebosch details what’s happening on Pinewood Park Drive.

She also says the Cedar Heights watermain and pumping station project on College Drive is moving along well.

Vrebosch says it will will open the area up to development and resolve issues with water pressure and boil water advisories.

Overall, she says they don’t have any concerns with how the various projects are proceeding.
