cruisin1There will be a traffic jam in the downtown core on Saturday and it’s the kind you’ll want to be a part of.

The street will be filled with special interest vehicles and motorcycles for Crusin’ Downtown 7 – from 10am to 4pm.

Downtown Improvement Area Executive Director Jeff Serran says they had over 220 vehicles to showcase last year.

He says this really is a tourist attraction, bringing in people in from all over the province, not just to watch but also participate.

cruisin3As well, there will be a special guest; Chief Auto Reviewer for The Toronto Star Jim Kenzie.

Serran says everyone is welcome, whether you have a special interest vehicle, something you just want to show off, or just to get a good look at the vehicles.

Registration is being taken right up to the morning of the event.

Meantime, we’ll have lemonade here at the radio station, plus you have the chance to win Blue Jays tickets if you figure out the make and model of the crushed car in our parking lot.
