Labour Market Group

That’s the name of a free event Tuesday, put on by the Labour Market Group, to help anyone in the area get a job. Executive Director of the Labour Market Group, Stacie Fiddler says the event runs from 9 in the morning until 2 in the afternoon at the Best Western.

She says they will provide lunch and have workshops throughout the day to help people find jobs.

The workshops include resume building, job hunting and tips for social media. She says there will also be an employer panel hosted by Para Med, Barclay House and Tim Horton’s.

Fiddler says that walk-ins are welcome, but she asks that people also register by calling the Labor Market group at (705) 474-0812
