Water and sewer rates the focus at council tonight

Due to the Easter holiday there was no committee meeting of council last night.

Instead, it goes tonight (Tuesday) starting at 7 pm.

There will be a public meeting on water and sewer rates to begin the evening.

After the installation of water meters, council has to decide what the fixed rate and variable rate will be, with options including a 60-40 split.

Meantime, the general government committee will look at several issues including a report on a residential rental housing licensing by law variance and a tax policy review report.

Also, Community Services has two items on the agenda including one on the new Comprehensive Zoning Bylaw and the other on the sign bylaw variance.
