Today is one of nine Stat holiday’s in Ontario — and that means most government offices and retail outlets are closed. Also closed today are the Merrick Landfill and the City’s Household Hazardous Waste Depot.

Meantime, there’s no city transit service today and there’s no garbage or recycling pick-up either. That will happen tomorrow.

Some places that may be open today include tourist operators, gas stations and convenience stores.

Meantime the Education Centre Campus at Canadore College and Nipissing University is closed for most of the weekend.  All campuses are closed today.

Both campuses are open tomorrow during regular business hours and that includes the Harris Learning Library.

On Easter Sunday, the building will be open but the learning library and Canadore will be closed.

And on Monday, Canadore and the Learning Library will be open.  But Nipissing University is closed.

Both facilities will resume during regular business hours on Tuesday.
