NE LHIN

The results are in from a survey conducted by the Northeast LHIN. Cynthia Stables is the Director of Community Engagement for the Northeast LHIN, and she says over a thousand people took part in the survey.

It asked questions about what’s needed in home and community care.

Stables says access is a big priority for people who took part in the survey. She says people want to know what services are available, who to call and where the services are available.

Stables says the information has been forwarded on to the province and was part of a recent report called bringing care home.

She says the information in the survey will be part of the LHIN’s strategic plan moving forward.

Stables says the interest in the survey shows people are passionate about health care in Northeastern Ontario.
