Ecole St PaulThe Children’s Aid Society is hoping to utilize the old St. Paul school as their new headquarters.

Council heard from a couple of residents in the neighborhood last night (Monday).

One resident had concerns over traffic issues saying there is going to be a needed increase in parking space.

They are expecting 60 more vehicles when CAS opens. Residents say traffic could be backed up by four blocks.

However, it is something Mark King hopes gets council’s approval.

The Chair of Community Services is also the former Chair of the building committee for Children’s Aid. He says it was his suggestion to look at schools as potential destinations as they make an excellent rebuild.

Council will hold a vote for the final approval on Monday.
