North Bay Police reporting 13 people were arrested and charged over the weekend for a variety of offenses.

 

Those included impaired driving, fraud under $5000, public intoxication, possession of a controlled substance, possession for the purpose of trafficking and breach.

 

There were 188 calls for service overall.

 

A 48 year old North Bay man and a 45 year old woman from Callander are facing charges for trafficking cocaine and prescription pills.

A 21 year old woman from Callander and a 21 year old man from North Bay are facing several drug related charges.

A North Bay man is charged after a police investigation into a vehicle collision last Friday.

North Bay Police still searching for a driver of a pickup truck who left the scene of a collision last Friday evening.

 

The collision happened on Front and O’Brien Street around 7:15pm.

 

The driver struck a pedestrian and fled towards Algonquin Avenue in a four door black pickup truck.

 

The pedestrian sustained non-life threatening injuries and is still in hospital.
