The latest ‘hotlist’ of movie and TV film projects in the north is out and there’s several productions lined up for North Bay.

According to Music and Film in Motion, two are taking place this month.

The first is a Hallmark TV movie called Miss Kringle/Christmas Jingle, which was filming on Oak Street West this past week.

The other is a feature film called ‘The Rest Of US’.

The film ‘She Never Died’ just wrapped production last week.

Upcoming projects include the Carter TV series with season four of Cardinal filming in the fall.

As for season three, there’s no specifics yet on when ‘Cardinal: By The Time You Read This’ will air.

However, the first two cycles were broadcast early in the new year, in both 2017 and 2018, respectively.

Meantime, Melissa A. Smith Casting Inc. says background performers are being cast for upcoming feature films being shot in the North Bay area from tomorrow (Monday) through September 1.

Officials say they’re looking for men and women of all ethnicities, ages and sizes.

All positions are paid and experience is not necessary.
