Several top finishes for CT33 Thunderbirds swim team members at a few recent events.

Last weekend at a long course championship in Sudbury, top performers were Trael Daly Stevens, Jesse Hammond, Evan Kilroy, Jenna Wall and Albert Bouley who also achieved a provincial festivals qualifying time.

Jessie Hammond broke a club record in the 1500 metre Free event.

Swimmers with achieving top three placements were Michael Denomme, Samuel Denomme, Emelia Lainevool, Peyton Paralovos, Riley Periard and Madilyn Reaume.

Swimmers who landed a spot in the top eight were Timothy Corbeil, Sydney Doidge, Sheldon Kilroy, Noah Papatheodorou, Jaiden Paralovos, Ryleigh Paralovos and Gavin Wall.

Personal best times were posted by most Thunderbirds with special mention to Sophie Durocher, Grace Hong, Annika Lainevool, Olivia Trottier, Jillian O’Donnell and Cole Paralovos.

 

At the end of May, several Thunderbirds club records were broken at the Ontario Team Challenge in Markham.

First place finishers were Trael Daly Stevens, Samuel Denomme, Evan Kilroy, Jenna Wall, Sydney Doidge, Jesse Hammond, Ayden Michaud and Cole Paralovos.

Thunderbirds with top three finishes were Leah Chirico, Sophie Durocher, Sheldon Kilroy, Emilia Lainevool, Jillian O’Donnell, Noah Papatheodorou, Peyton Paralovos and Madilyn Reaume.

Swimmers achieving top ten performances were Timothy Corbeil, Jaiden Paralovos, Ryleigh Paralovos, Katie Sefton, Madeline Tanner, Olivia Trottier and Gavin Wall.

CT33 swimmers with personal best times were Abigail Betsill, Myles Denomme, Annika Lainevool, Rachelle Ouellette and Drew Sinclair.

 

Seven Thunderbirds competed at the Fred Rams Championship in Timmins in mid-May.

Albert Bouley, Grace Hong and Sheldon Kilroy all won events.

Other CT33 swimmers with top ten performances were Myles Denomme, Sydney Doidge, Drew Sinclair, and Isabella Trottier.
