It’s music to the ears of the Capitol Centre, their patrons and entertainers too.

Their sound system has undergone a massive upgrade with the installation of a new line array.

Capitol Centre Director of Business Operations Katina Connolly says there are plenty of benefits.

“The way this is set up, it’s very modern technology, this allows the audio to ensure it reaches every seat the proper way and the experience is enhanced for our patrons,” she says.

Connolly also says it’ll help draw larger acts and artists to the stage.

Normally when they’ve come in in the past we’ve had to rent out additional equipment or we’ve had to compromise with our old sound system,” she says. “This system will allow us to support and meet those requirements from those high-calibre artists as they come to North Bay.”

The Capital Centre received funding for the upgrade, and is part of a larger project involving improvements to the roof of the building.
