Winter is making a comeback with a snowfall warning in effect for the North Bay area.

A Colorado low is sweeping through through the region, with 15 to 25 cm of snow expected by the time it tapers off tomorrow (Tuesday).

Environment Canada says the snow will become heavier this afternoon and tonight with blowing snow possible too.

Ice pellets could also mix in with the snow, reducing snowfall accumulations.

Meantime, in the Burk’s Falls area there is a freezing rain warning.

With the weather, all school buses are CANCELLED right across the Nipissing, East and West Parry Sound Districts.

Schools remain open.
