An improbable comeback by the North Bay Battalion, handing Owen Sound a 3-2 overtime loss at Memorial Gardens last night (Thursday).

The Attack dominated for over 50 minutes before Riley Bruce and Matthew Struthers scored 52 seconds apart late in the 3rd period to tie the game at two.

Justin Brazeau then notched his 28th goal of the season in overtime to give the Troops the win.

Former Battalion defenceman Brady Lyle scored twice for Owen Sound while Brett McKenzie was held off the scoresheet.

Julien Sime made 30 saves for his 8th win of the season.

Struthers now has points in every game he’s played since being traded to North Bay.

The Battalion are back in action tomorrow (Saturday) in Barrie.
