The first Top Fish meet of the season took place on the weekend at the Gatchell Pool in Sudbury and five CT33 Thunderbird swimmers had one or more first place finishes.

Eleven year old Peyton Paralovos (pictured) led the team with five first place finishes.

Madilyn Reaume (10) finished first in four events while Isabella Trottier (9) placed first in three events.

Other swimmers with a first place finish were Sophie Durocher (9) and Grace Hong (11).

Top three finishers were Abigail Betsill (10) and Ryleigh Paralovos (10).

Myles Denomme (10) placed top seven in his events.

Personal best times were recorded by a majority of the CT33 swimmers.

North Bay coaches Pierre Simard, Penny Lecour, Hillar Lainevool, Jennifer Piper and Michael Denomme said they were pleased with the results from the meet and the success and growth of all swimmers.
