A female has been charged with public mischief, assault, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and uttering threats .

Police say on Sunday, a female reported a domestic assault.

Police say the allegation was false and the woman returned home where she bit and scratched a male.

The male ran out of the house and the woman yelled she would run him over.

Police say the woman went to her vehicle and accelerated towards the victim who ran into a ditch waiting for police.

A 33 year old North Bay man has been charged with assault with a weapon.

Police say an argument occurred between two males in an apartment building on Fisher St.

Police say an upstairs tenant opened a door with a crowbar and struck another tenant in the right hand and head.

North Bay Police say someone broke into a residence on Regina Street.

Jewelry, a camcorder and old coins were taken.

A 25 year old North Bay man has been charged with carrying a concealed weapon.

Police say two males were seen fighting on Ann St. and one of the men had a folding knife concealed in his waist band.

North Bay Police are investigating a case of arson.

Police say around 9 Sunday night a person walked up to a front yard on Front St. and doused a tree with an accelerant and then lit the tree on fire before fleeing on foot towards Algonquin Ave..

The person is described as 6’1, slim, wearing a blue plaid shirt and a hoodie.

The fire was extinguished.
