There’s a final resolution to the labour dispute earlier this year at the local Children’s Aid Society.

CAS says arbitration has resulted in the employees receiving a 1.5 percent wage increase.

But, they also say the deal only runs until the end of March 2018, so there’s not a lot time to heal before negotiations start back up again.

CUPE says sick leave provisions, which were one of the contentious issues in the dispute, remain in place.
