The North Bay Police service is welcoming two new recruits to their ranks.

Constables, Haley Field and Aila Udeschini (oo-desh-eeny) are North Bay newest officers.
Udeschini says she’s always and a passion for her community and this was the right thing to do.
“Growing up in NorthBay I’ve been quite involved in the community with sports, I got my education here through university. I found policing was a way to give back to my community.”
Field says it was important to stay in North Bay and keep a solid support base of her family intact.
Meanwhile, police chief Shawn Devine says the North Bay Police Service now features 16 female officers out of a toal of 94.
Devine says they’re lucky to have the newest recruits as locals and already know the community well.
