North Bay Police have charged 4 people with drug related offenses.

Police say last Thursday morning they received a call about a vehicle parked in the Marshall Avenue area and the caller believed the occupants were doing drugs inside a vehicle.

Police located the vehicle a short time later on Main Street.

The charges against 3 Timmins residents and another person of no fixed address include possession for the purpose of trafficking in heroine, cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine and marijuana.

As well, there were also possession of property obtained by crime, carrying a concealed weapon and breach of probation counts laid.

Police seized drugs with a street value of over $50,000 plus $5,500 in Canadian currency, 5 folding knives and other drug paraphernalia.

Police don’t believe the drugs were intended for North Bay.
