OPSEU negotiators have a strike mandate from their members at the LCBO.

In fact, workers across the province voted 93 percent in favour of job action, as their union continues to bargain for a new collective agreement.

Voting by OPSEU members, including those in the North Bay area was held earlier this week.

Issues include job security, scheduling and health and safety.

The union also calls the government’s move to sell beer, wine and cider in grocery stores “creeping privatization”.
