With the future of the Dionne Quints Museum coming up at the next North Bay City Council meeting on Tuesday the spokesperson for the two surviving sisters is speaking out.

Carlo Tarini says Annette and Cecile are stressed by the debate in North Bay and the possibility of the museum home, the artifacts and paper documents going to three different places.

He says city council seems to be not at all interested in preserving everything in 1 location.

He says this is tantamount to unloading the museum.

He says Plan B is to keep everything together and send everything to the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau, Quebec.

He says the key is preserving the Dionne story in 1 location.

Tarini says number one for the sisters is to keep everything together in North Bay.

He says the sisters have been disappointed the city didn’t consult them on the future of the museum during the process despite the name of the museum.
