The jobless figure was 5.2 percent last month, down from 10.9 percent a year ago.

The standard error is 1.3.

Meantime, the employment rate fell from 60.8 percent last September to 52.6 percent last month.

The figures include North Bay, Callander, East Ferris and Bonfield.
