West Nipissing Police charge woman after thefts from hospital patients and staff

West Nipissing Police reporting a 35 year old Jocko Point woman is facing break and enter, theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime charges.

This after police were contacted about a suspicious woman walking the halls of the West Nipissing Hospital, with officers told about thefts from staff and patients.

Later, police received a call from a pizza shop saying an unknown woman, matching the description of the female from the hospital incident, was found in their storage room.

She was then located on Front Street in Sturgeon Falls and arrested.

Police say items matching those from the hospital were found in her purse and seized by the officers.
