The North Bay Battalion are facing elimination for the first time in the 2015 playoffs.

This after a 4-1 loss to the Oshawa Generals, in Oshawa on Friday night.

The Troops are now down 3 games to 2 in the best of 7 Rogers OHL Eastern Conference Championship series.

Head Coach Stan Butler says they know what they need to do.

The Generals opened the scoring in the first period with Battalion forward Ray Huether then tying the game up at one, also in the first frame.

But, Oshawa scored the eventual winning goal in the second period and added two more in the third to seal the victory.

North Bay outshot Oshawa 37-35.

Game six goes Sunday afternoon at Memorial Gardens, the broadcast begins on Country 600 CKAT with the pre-game show at 1:35 pm.

The Memorial Gardens Box Office is open Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm and again Sunday morning starting at 10 o’clock.

A tailgate party outside the arena starts at 12 noon on Sunday.
