Police (north bay)North Bay Police have charged a 26 year old male pedestrian with several offenses including possession of marijuana and possession of morphine. He was also charged with resisting peace officer and failing to comply with a probation order. Police say a short foot chase ensued after attempts made to arrest the male on Deleware Avenue. Meantime, police also conducted a traffic stop and charged a 45 year old male from Sudbury with several offenses including one count of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and one count of possession of property obtained by crime.

Police say they seized 200 dollars in Canadian currency, 19 grams of suspected cocaine with a street value of 1800 dollars, 40 milligrams of suspected morphine and 4.4 grams of suspected marijuana.
